Gene Therapy Development Fund

€1,012,586 raised of estimated €5,000,000 needed

Every donation helps move the project closer to clinical development and potential treatment availability.

A personal commitment

GAND Foundation was not created as a project, but as a response to a life-changing diagnosis. It was born from the role of parents who face a rare and severe genetic condition every day and from the decision to do everything possible for their child’s future.

Every donation, every contribution, and every gesture of support is treated with the highest level of responsibility. People do not donate only money — they donate trust and hope. We consider this a personal commitment, not a formality.

Our commitment to accountability

As founders and parents, we are directly involved in the foundation’s work. We collaborate with researchers and experts, oversee the use of funds, and ensure that every decision serves the purpose for which the foundation was created.

We commit that:

  • all funds will be used exclusively for the foundation’s goals,

  • financial flows will be traceable and regularly communicated,

  • operational costs will be kept to an absolute minimum,

  • progress and challenges will be shared openly with the public.

Our role within the foundation is unpaid. The only reward is progress — every step closer to treatment, every new opportunity for children and families affected by rare genetic diseases.
